Most plants run three crews: morning, evening and night, eight hours each, rotating about every two weeks. Some sites prefer twelve-hour shifts with only a day and a night crew. Holidays and summer are the hardest part of the year. Demand peaks, temperatures climb and the roster gets tighter. Eid coverage and summer scheduling are planned months ahead, and your rest days rarely land where you want them.
